While Cotswold School pupils have all the advantages of the open, green spaces and country pursuits that our rural setting brings, the larger cultural centres (including Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham, Bristol and London) are regularly and easily accessed for the numerous events and shows our pupils may wish to attend.

‘The list of opportunities is impressive.’ (Ofsted)

Students are also given the opportunity to enrich the life of the school by taking active roles of responsibility within it.  Such roles can include: Student Council, peer mentoring, PE assistants, House Captaincies, event coordinators, Year Book committee, and school ambassadors.

As diverse as the school’s curriculum, the extensive programme of extra-curricular activities further enriches our pupils’ secondary school experience.  Events, clubs and after school activities abound.

Our pupils can take part in:
Power-kite flying
Cooking – including ‘Let’s Get Cooking Club’ and Rotary International Young Chef Competition.
Debating Society
Poetry Slam

Public Speaking – with both the English Speaking Union and Rotary International’s Youth Speaks competition.
