Alumni hold virtual advice sessions for Year 12
In meetings held over zoom during lunch breaks, Year 12 students at The Cotswold School have heard directly from students at the University of Oxford and received some great advice about early applications to Oxbridge.
Sophie Taylor (pictured) left our Sixth Form in 2017 to read Geography at the University of Oxford and is now a research assistant in the university’s School of Geography and Environment. Joe Salf (pictured below) is at Somerville College, Oxford, reading Medicine.
Sophie, Joe, Ellen Walkingshaw (Theology, Mansfield College) and Jossy Munro (French and Spanish, St Peter’s College) held lunchtime zoom sessions with Cotswold School Year 12 students, to offer advice about applying to Oxbridge for medicine, science, languages, arts and humanities courses. Applications to Oxbridge – and for medicine, veterinary and dentistry courses – are made in October of Year 13; most other applications are in January.
Applications to The Cotswold School Sixth Form (entry 2021) are now open. Click here to apply.
