Author sends a message to our students

Bestselling author Holly Smale has sent a message of reassurance and encouragement to students at The Cotswold School.

Head of English, Miss Sewell, contacted Holly, who said that the feelings that every person is experiencing – from missing friends to frustration – are quite normal, but things will get better with time.

More than anything, Holly encouraged students to read, saying, “If there’s something you’re missing right now, I promise you, there’s a book about it. If there’s a place you wish you could be, there’s a book about it”.

Holly Smale’s books include the Geek Girl series and The Valentines.
