British Science Week – parents and carers join in the fun!
Year 7 students brought their parents, carers and siblings into school for an exciting evening of rocket-making and chemical experiments.
There were some fun physics experiments involving constructing paper rockets and then firing them out on the school field to see how far each rocket could travel. Adults and children also worked together on timed chemical experiments, adjusting the concentration of a water and chemical solution to transform the colour from a clear solution to dark!
The evening was part of the activities offered to students during British Science Week.
