Headteacher, Mr Morgan, said,

“I am delighted for these young people, who were among those facing the first round of formal examinations after the disruptions of the pandemic. They handled their learning, revision and exams with maturity and commitment. These exceptional GCSE results demonstrate the quality of teaching and support that the school has consistently provided and the determination and resilience of our students.

“These achievements build on the excellence reflected in last week’s A level results, which saw our students gain some of the best results in Gloucestershire.”

Families arrived at the school from 9 am to receive GCSE results and celebrate together. School leaders had individual meetings with all students who wanted to secure their place at the school’s outstanding Sixth Form.
