School leaver excels at local stables

While he completed his final year at The Cotswold School, Dan attended Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre (BVEC) for two sessions a week, learning about the animals and helping around the stables. Now he has been taken on by the centre and is studying for an equine apprenticeship.

As well as riding lessons and clubs for all ages, BVEC is the base for the Cotswold Riding Opportunities Project, a social enterprise that aims to make riding available to all.

Leanne Launchbury, manager of BVEC spoke highly of Dan and the work he is putting in: “We are so proud of him!”
