Former pupil in Oxbridge women’s cricket match at Lord’s
Emma Parker graduated this year from Cambridge University, where she studied Linguistics at Christ’s College.
Emma recalls how she enjoyed PE GCSE and playing a bit of cricket at when she was a pupil at The Cotswold School and how this stood her in good stead to play a unique women’s cricket match – Cambridge vs. Oxford – at Lord’s Cricket Ground this summer.
Since Emma was at the school, we have developed a thriving girls’ cricket squad. In the recent fixture that The Cotswold School played against the MCC’s team, Lottie Oliver was given the ‘spirit of the match’ award by the MCC, for her all-round play.
