Last week, our Year 10 Employability and Life Skills group took part in a wonderful trip Birdland, Bourton on the Water. Students were given the opportunity to ask Alistair, Head Keeper, some great questions about the business, such as:

How many people are employed at Birdland and what jobs do they do? What does a typical working day involve for you? What are the best and worst parts of your job? What qualifications and skills do you need for this job? And, what challenges is the business facing at the moment?

The group learnt the importance of being passionate about what you do, rolling your sleeves up and get stuck in to every task. A very enjoyable trip, their ninth trip to a Bourton business this school year!

Thank you to all of the businesses who have accommodated our visits.
