Our final week of the year is traditionally Enrichment Week
Packed with activities and visits that enhance skills, knowledge and experience, the range of choice is huge: indoors, outdoors, active, creative, artistic and therapeutic, and every child in Year 7 to Year 9 is involved. Meanwhile, Year 10 and Year 12 are busy with work experience, and Duke of Edinburgh groups are on expeditions! Students have mixed and matched to fill three days with enrichment.
Sports and active
Football, Cricket nets, Badminton, Basketball, Rounders, Softball, Tennis, Hockey, Street Dance and Just Dance, plus learning to be a rugby or cricket referee and flying Power Kites
Creative and productive
Making bird-feeders, Paella-cooking workshop, Cross-stitch, Knitting, Macrame, Digital collage, Harry Potter wands and special effect make-up, Clay pots, Printmaking, Bas-relief pottery, theatre workshop, learning Russian, board games, learning to be a referee
Trips and visits
Cheddar Gorge, Thinktank museum, Silverstone, Hamilton!, Stratford-upon-Avon, Battlefields of France and Belgium, sponsored Cotswold Walk.
