Experienced interviewers volunteered to support our Year 12 students

Over the course of two days so far, many of our Year 12 students have practised their interview technique, to help prepare them for their next steps.

Whether applying for apprenticeships, employment, training or university places, confidence in speaking about yourself, your interests, ambitions and achievements takes practise and perspective.

The perspective was offered by a host of experienced volunteers, including two of our former teachers, who held the one-to-one sessions with students. We are grateful to all of them, for their time and guidance.

Mr Ramsay, one of the interview team, wrote to Mr White, Head of Careers, complimenting the school and participants:

“I have been doing these practice interviews at schools across the county for 10 years now. The standard of Cotswold School students is always amongst the highest, and today’s event was the best organised that I have been involved in.”
