Fin and Immie swim to success

Huge congratulations to Year 10 students Fin and Immie!

Fin recently competed in the Gloucester County Swimming Championships in Bristol, winning the County Junior Champion Award in his age group for 50 m backstroke and 100 m fly, silver in 200 m backstroke and 100 m freestyle and bronze in 200 m freestyle. Fin qualified in four Championship Finals, where he will swim against any age group.

Immie  took part in County Championships, qualifying for eight finals – achieving silver in the 50m breaststroke and bronze in the 50m backstroke for her age group. Immie also finished second in her age group for 100m and 200m breaststroke in the prelims, swimming fast enough to qualify for the overall Championship finals and putting her in the top ten girls across all ages for both events.
