Construction work proceeds apace

Throughout this academic year and into the next, we have navigated our school site alongside a brilliant construction team from Speller Metcalfe Ltd.

English department

Science and sport facilities
In addition, we have two new Science laboratories; refurbished classrooms and library; and a new gymnasium. We are also creating a new reception area and offices in the position of our former library. A summary of works projected from Summer 2021 onwards – which includes re-decorating many areas – is available here.

New library
The spacious new library, which will now be further into the main area of the school, opens later in the academic year. As well as undergoing a complete refurbishment, the space connects to a large grass courtyard, where staff and students can study and read in the open air when the weather allows.
