Two more winners of PE Challenges: Shannon and Max
Shannon in Year 10 did an amazing 124 sit-ups in the max test; played the Snakes & Ladders game, a 5k run and the yoga video.
Max in Year 7 ran 5k in 25:21 for his cardio option and a clocked up a whopping 278 non-stop sit-ups. He said, “I also did a fun workout – and I’m going to feel it tomorrow!”
A special mention to Thomas in Year 7
Mrs Honour said, “Thomas regularly enters the PE challenge and he has stepped up from 5k to 10k! Brilliant.” His 10k run time is 56:20; and Thomas said he enjoyed the Snakes & Ladders and found the yoga relaxing.
Well done Louis in Year 7, for his first entry and strong results
Louis wrote to Mrs Honour: “I have completed your challenge for this week, I did the Snakes & Ladders on Monday, and today I did a run and the sit-up challenge. The run was 2.9 miles and it took 32 minutes. For the sit-up challenge I managed to do 40 without pausing.”
Mrs Honour said, “That’s an excellent start – keep it up!”
