Meet The Partridge Family
The recent hatching of partridge eggs has produced eight chicks
An iPad was set up to film eggs in an incubator in the corner of one of our science labs and linked up through Microsoft Teams. Students across the school were able to join the Team to watch the chicks hatch and take their first steps.
Now, a group of children in Year 7 are weighing and measuring the chicks at regular intervals, using the skills they have learned in science lessons to process the data. They intend to create a video to show to children in primary schools, which will help explain how to plot graphs using the information collected.
