Our ‘Royal Academy Young Artists’

Year 11 students Thea and Arthur have had their work selected for one of the country’s most prestigious exhibitions.

‘Just Niamh’ by Thea Pett and ‘Luca’ by Arthur Bowen were selected by a panel of Royal Academy judges from over 14,000 entries. The online exhibition of the Royal Academy Young Artists Summer Show 2020 is now live! View it here.

Mrs Hannam from our Art Department said,

“Thirteen of our students from Years 11-13 entered up to three pieces of artwork and collectively they were incredibly strong. We were certainly very proud when we saw all their entries.

“The Royal Academy commented on the difficulty of selection due to the high standard and encouraged them to have another go next year.”
