Last week, Year 9s watched a play about the County Lines method of trafficking drugs and weapons.

Performed by the not-for-profit theatre company AlterEgo, the play raises awareness around Child Criminal Exploitation. Students were shown the steps that gangs across the country take to exploit vulnerable young people.

Mrs Carter, Head of PSHE, said: “We hosted the production company AlterEgo to inform our students of the dangers of County Lines and how easy it is for young people to become involved in. As seen in the performance, young people can be easily manipulated and exploited – raising awareness of how this can happen is vital in helping to stop this kind of abuse.”
