Traditional face paints and house colours for Sports Day!

Over 400 students from Year 7 to Year 10 competed, plus Year 12. Sixth formers helped with the judging and organising. There was even a staff relay race!

Some fabulous competitors achieved great results across a fun day, which started with field events, closely followed by long distance running and culminated in sprints and relays. Well done to the new record-holders:

• Gabi Amador – Year 7 Long Jump and 100m
• Alex McLean – Year 7 Triple Jump
• Will Lorman – Year 8 Javelin
• Izzy Tye – Year 9 Javelin

The Sports Day overall winners were Artemis House!

• 1st = Artemis – 796 points
• 2nd = Poseidon – 786 points
• 3rd = Zeus – 744 points
• 4th = Apollo – 722 points
