The cast and crew of our school production, the National Theatre ‘Connections’ play ‘Strangers Like Me’ by Ed Harris, put on two amazing shows last week. From acting and singing to music and lighting; props, costumes, and stage design; direction; what a brilliant team effort!

Following last Friday’s performance, students were given the opportunity to speak with Abie Walton from North Wall Theatre, Oxford, who oversees the Connections Festival at the theatre, and to Grace Duggan, representing the National Theatre as a Mentor Director. Grace’s role was to lead the Q&A session at the end of the evening and discuss the play and the process of creating the performance – her notes will be used to support staff and students with their performance in Oxford.

Mrs Roberts, Head of Drama, said ” We could not be prouder of this energetic, talented and amazing cast and crew of Strangers like Me – the performance reflected their hard work and commitment, and they thoroughly deserve the wonderful positive reaction they have received from parents, staff and peers”.

You can still catch the performance at the North Wall Theatre in Oxford on 30 April, 3 pm. Click here to book tickets.
