‘Environment Pupil Leadership Group meet with Rupert from UCL’s Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education to pose questions for future planning’

Rupert Higham visited school on Thursday 27 June from UCL’s Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education. Rupert worked with the Environment Pupil Leadership Group (PLG) during lunchtime to pose questions for future planning in school – students asked interesting questions, giving them a lot to think about in planning the PLG’s Action Plan for next year. During the afternoon, Rupert met with Mr Morgan to talk about leadership and sustainability – the focus of Rupert’s research. Later in the afternoon, he met with teachers from a variety of subjects  – Geography, English, Art, History, PBE, Science, and Computer Science – to facilitate discussions on developing interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability education in future planning.
Students and staff are looking forward to continue to work with Rupert next year.
