High commitment from swimmers and netball players

Swim England
Well done to Fin and Joe, both in Year 9, whose dedication to swimming has earned them each one of only 100 places on Swim England’s National Development Programme. Throughout the year they will receive coaching and development, great recognition for the hard work that goes into keeping up with the demands of their school work alongside their daily sport practice.

Severn Stars Netball
Congratulations to Millie and Helena, who tried out for the Under 17 Severn Stars Nova Academy (Millie got through last year) and have been selected to play for the team for 2021-22. It’s a significant step on the England Netball Pathway and demands two evenings’ training and practice a week, plus matches, from their busy schedules.
