Former student Tash promotes popular degree apprenticeship route
Tash Tustin completed her A Levels in 2021 and joined Atkins as a degree apprentice in management consultancy. Since then, she has hit the ground running! She was recently interviewed about her choice to progress her career in this way.
“For me, doing an apprenticeship was a no-brainer – it was the opportunity to get an education in the form of a degree and being able to work alongside that. I wanted to be able to put what I am learning into practice in my everyday job.”

Tash is a passionate advocate for the degree apprenticeship route. In the winter, she returned to The Cotswold School to represent Atkins at our Careers Fair and she is keen to encourage young people to consider degree apprenticeships.
“During my last year of school, I had an apprenticeship mentor and she really inspired me to go into consulting through the apprenticeship route. In consultancy you can work on a diverse range of projects. I felt that Atkins would be a good fit for me to develop my consulting understanding because its projects are varied and exciting.”
