‘A big school with a big heart’

We were delighted to welcome representatives from The Good Schools Guide, which features The Cotswold School in its popular publication.

Schools do not pay to be listed in the Guide: the experienced assessors consider many aspects and form their independent conclusions, visiting 1,300 of the 30,000 schools they list. They had a busy day interviewing the Headteacher and meeting staff, pupils and parents, visiting lessons and looking around the school site.

In summing up their report, which is now published online, they referenced The Cotswold School’s ‘big heart’ and said,

“This vibrant, forward-thinking school constantly pushes itself to meet the diverse needs of its students in ever more imaginative ways. Lively lessons are run by sparky, kindly teachers who work hard at encouraging these youngsters to really engage.”
