On Friday 19 January, The Cotswold School played host to our STEM centrepiece event for the year, our annual Vex Robotics regional competition. We welcomed 13 teams from schools all around the country to compete in this year’s engineering robotics challenge.

Vex Robotics is a worldwide competition in which students must try to complete an engineering challenge that has been set for that year. The Cotswold School teams did fantastically well and managed to qualify for the national championships at the beginning of March, therefore keeping alive their dream of qualifying for the World Robotics Championships in Texas later this year.

Well done to everyone that took part and congratulations to all of the winners!

Thank you to our judges Angela, Richard and Clive from the #bugattitrust and to Paul and Peter from Solid State Plc.

A huge thank you to Mr Kelly, Head of Design and Technology and to Mrs Mustoe, DT Technician.
