Year 10 Cricket Match Report 

The Cotswold School Year 10 Cricket team played against Pates Grammar School this week in their Cricket District Final – due to the weather, the game was shortened to 15 overs a side. After a shaky start, skipper Acer hit an excellent 47 not out with the bat, helped by a quick fire 19 from Harry W. Making 91 off their 15 overs, the boys had to ensure they fielded and bowled consistently to have a chance of winning. Early wickets from Jesse set the game up for a fantastic finish. Excellent fielding from Matt, Harry and skipper Acer meant the boys ended up winning by a deserved 9 runs. Congratulations team, an excellent performance all round!
