The performance raised £500 for Headspace

When they decided to put on a performance – the first theatre show at school in almost two years –the subject matter of The Wonderful World of Dissocia spoke to our Drama and Theatre A Level students, now in Year 13.

The story of Lisa, a young woman who has Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), is represented first as a fantastical journey, akin to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Lisa has many humorous encounters with an array of unusual characters… The second half is in stark contrast, as Lisa is confined to hospital where the mental health treatment she receives and her future look equally bleak.
