Cooking, sleeping and hiding in the woods…
Students in Year 7 enjoyed a two-day trip to Blenheim Woods to celebrate the fantastic year they have had.
Miss Lamb, Head of Year 7 and Transition, said,
“The purpose of the trip was to have experiences outside of our usual comfort zones, build on resilience and try new things.
“We built our own fires for cooking and warmth, created shelters that some pupils slept in, and learnt about camouflage. One of the best bits was having a huge game of hide and seek in the woods!
“We were all exhausted at the end of two days of non-stop activity! But the fresh air and space to discover new things away from technology did us all the world of good.”
The next Year 7 residential trip takes place in September, for our newest members of the school!
