Mr White, Head of Sixth Form, said the school’s support for all applicants is thorough and challenging. Furthermore, the encouragement of high ambition is established back in Key Stage 3 and 4 as part of the Aspire programme.
He said, “Two-thirds of Year 13 have received offers to study at Russell Group universities and are on track to achieve the required grades for their first-choice courses. Among many notable offers so far, we have our first ever place at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School – congratulations to Frankie, who has a place to study Theatre Production there. Meg has an offer to read Medicine at Plymouth University and Gus has offers from Nottingham University and Harper & Keele Veterinary School to study Veterinary Medicine.”
