In 2023, students at The Cotswold School achieved outstanding results at GCSE and A Level.
A level achievements in 2023
- 35% of grades were awarded at A* or A
- 62% were awarded at A* to B
- 86% were awarded at A* to C
- 27 students (20% of the Year group) achieved three or more grades at A* or A
GCSE achievements in 2023
- 88% of grades in all subjects were 9-4
- Over 83% of students achieved the benchmark of five or more 9-4 grades, including Maths and English
- 75% of grades were at 9-5
- 37% of grades were awarded at 9-7
Destinations at the end of Year 11
Ninety per cent of our students continue in education after Year 11. Two-thirds choose to stay with us at Sixth Form.

The school is comprehensive school of the year in the South West, according to the Sunday Times ‘Parent Power’ survey, 2023, which used exam results information from 2021/22 to rank schools nationally.
