Level 3 BTEC National
In Business, you will study a range of units, including personal and business finance, marketing, international business, customer service, recruitment and selection, branding, corporate social responsibility. These will vary according to the route chosen from the options below:
Extended Certificate (equivalent to one A Level)
This course is designed to be taken as part of a programme of study that includes other appropriate BTEC Nationals or A Levels. It’s a great option if you are interested in learning about the business sector alongside other fields of study.
Diploma (equivalent to two A Levels)
A substantive part of a 16–19 study programme providing a strong core of sector study. This programme may include other BTEC Nationals or A Levels.
Careers and further study progression
BTEC Nationals in Business offer excellent progression routes to higher education, apprenticeships or employment, providing a strong introduction to the business sector and giving learners a solid platform of knowledge and skills.

GCSE Mathematics and English Language
Assessment
A mixture of examinations and internally assessed (moderated) coursework assignments
Grades are awarded at Distinction*, Distinction, Merit or Pass, equivalent
to A Level grades A* to E, and carry the same UCAS entry points.
