What makes a great buddy?

Buddies – volunteers who are going to help new children settle into school in September – had an excellent training session with Miss Lamb, Head of Year 7.

They thought about the behaviours – such as being helpful, big-hearted, kind, respectful and friendly – that will help next year’s Year 7 feel welcome and supported.

We’re looking forward to the Year 6 induction day coming up on 27th June. It’s a great opportunity for our new children to learn a bit about their new school, try out some activities and meet some teachers and fellow pupils. Their parents and carers will join us in the evening, too.
