Eco-friendly fashion entries for ‘Wool4School’ competition

Students of Textiles in Years 10 and 11 have created some brilliant wool-based designs.

Wool4School is an annual international student design competition encouraging budding fashion designers in Years 10-13 to showcase their creativity and win some amazing prizes and experiences.

This year’s challenge is to design an outfit which is versatile, protective, dynamic and functional to aid your commute as you travel. Wool should be the ‘hero fibre’, making up at least 70% of the outfit, comprising up to four pieces.

Head of Textiles, Miss Franklin, selected a winner from the designs that are going forward into the competition. Congratulations to Kaelin for her sustainable and multi-layered, flexible outfits.

A fashion design book is on its way to Kaelin! Click here to view her brilliant design.

Well done also to Chloe (Year 10) and Lucy (Year 11) for their ‘highly commended’ outfits – click here to see them.
