Gloucester Rugby coaches leading club training

In one of the first fixtures in a very long time, The Cotswold School First XV (boys aged 15-18) won an exciting friendly match against Burford School. The score of 15-12 was secured by the final winning try from Cameron.

Head of Physical Education, Miss Elvin, was delighted to see 24 girls playing in the initial session of after-school girls’ rugby training with coaches from Gloucester Rugby. She said,

“Not only did we attract good numbers (in fact, we would have had double, as some of those signed up were busy playing a hockey fixture) but we had every year throughout the school represented and all playing together… Including sixth form!! It was so lovely to see!”
