This week, 19 Language Leaders completed their final teaching placement at Bourton Primary School. Since January, the pupils have spent 20 hours learning the rudiments of teaching languages and planning and preparing their lessons in French, Spanish, German and Italian.

The award will be completed in June when they host The Cotswold School’s first Primary Language Day, welcoming 110 Year 4 pupils from feeder primary schools.

A huge congratulations to all students involved – they have been a credit to the school and should be very proud of what they have achieved.

Applications for next year’s Language Leader Award will open in July and will be open to all current Year 8 pupils.
