Heart-shaped cards delivered across the school on St Valentine’s Day
The initiative came from Enterprise Club as a way to bring people together, celebrate the wonderful words of many writers and raise money for our new library.
The Year 7 and Year 8 entrepreneurs created heart-shaped messages for fellow students to choose from last week, adding the name of the sender and recipient (if they wanted).
Deliveries were made by Mrs Fawsitt’s Year 7 tutor group before morning lessons began. Each delivery was charged at £1, which means the children have raised £105 for The Aird Library.
