Performing at Cheltenham Science Festival
Standing up for the planet
Throughout her years at The Cotswold School, Rebecca in Year 11 has been a passionate campaigner for the environment, raising awareness of climate change and setting up initiatives such as Green Group.
Now she has put together a show called ‘I stand for what I stand on’, along with three other young people and the organisation ‘Strike a Light’. The piece, which tells their story of being climate activists, was written and rehearsed throughout Covid-19 restrictions (often over zoom).
The group is appearing at the Cheltenham Science Festival on Sunday 13th June and has also applied to perform at COP in November among other events.
