Your DofE achievements

Students taking part in the Awards completed an amazing 4,797 hours of activities

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a collection of developmental programmes and activities for young people. Many of our students have gained great experiences from doing DofE.

Covid-19 has impacted on many aspects of life and although we have had to adapt, we can still pursue the DofE endeavours that are already in progress. We’re really proud that, between April 2019 and March 2020, The Cotswold School students completed a total of:

1,599 hours of learning a skill, like playing a musical instrument

1,508 hours of physical activity, such as your favourite sport

1690 hours of volunteering in your local community.

The social value of those hours is calculated by the DofE at £7,351.50.

The advice is to keep going! Persevere with your skill, volunteering and physical challenges, using the Covid guidelines, and let us know how you’re doing. Visit our webpage for DofE and email dofe@thecotswoldschool.co.uk if you have further questions.
