Rugby Success for Red and Ned
Congratulations to Red F and Ned C (Y11) who were selected for the U16 Cheltenham District Rugby squad in their district tournament on Thursday 9th October. Congratulations also to Evan W who was selected for the squad but unfortunately picked up an injury meaning he could not play in the tournament. Simon Dandy, Cheltenham District coach, commented “The players were ALL a real credit to themselves and their schools . They worked hard for each other and grew as a group during the day. Their performances on the pitch were also outstanding, winning all three of their matches against Gloucester District, Forest of Dean and Stroud, playing a very positive and attacking way”.
