Last Wednesday, we hosted our first ever Girls’ Rugby 7s Tournament at The Cotswold School, and what a brilliant day it was!

Despite the ever-changing weather, everyone persevered and helped create a really positive and enjoyable experience for all involved. It was fantastic to see the teamwork, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship on display throughout the day, and it was clear just how much the girls enjoyed being part of the tournament.

With teams travelling from all over the South West and over 140 girls taking part, the standard of rugby on display was outstanding, a real testament to the hard work being done to promote girls’ rugby in schools and the continued growth of the game in our area.

Congratulations to:

Hans Price – Cup Winners

Worle School – Plate Winners

Sibford – Bowl Winners

A huge thank you to all the players, staff, officials, and supporters who helped make the day such a success. The future of girls’ rugby is looking incredibly bright!
