As part of our ongoing celebrations for the , we were delighted to welcome author G D Howard back to the school to speak with Year 7 and Year 8 students.
During his visit, G D Howard shared insights into his journey as a writer and spoke in detail about his popular The Legend of the Green Wolf Rider and The Green Wolf Rider Rides Again novels. Students thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the inspiration behind the stories, the creative writing process and the development of the characters and adventures within the series.
The sessions were engaging and interactive, with students having the opportunity to ask questions about writing, publishing and what it is like to be an author. G D Howard encouraged students to embrace reading for pleasure and reminded them that creativity and imagination are at the heart of storytelling.
As part of the visit, the library was also gifted a signed copy of G D Howard’s latest book, which will no doubt prove popular with students eager to continue following the adventures of the Green Wolf Rider series.
We are extremely grateful to G D Howard for taking the time to visit the school once again and inspire our young readers as we continue to celebrate the joy of reading throughout the year.
